Sumd[AI] Beta
The latest on Sumd[AI]
Welcome to Sumd[AI]
We're excited for you to experience our new AI-powered tools, designed to help you gain insights and streamline your carbon accounting process. While we're confident these features will add significant value to your work, it's important to remember that we're still in the learning phase, and we need your feedback to help us continuously improve.
Here's everything you need to know about using Sumd[AI] effectively during the beta period.
What is Sumd[AI]?
Sumd[AI] is an AI tool integrated into the Sumday platform to help automate data analysis, provide deeper insights, and reduce the manual workload for carbon accounting and sustainability reporting. It’s designed to enhance the precision and speed of your reporting, offering smart suggestions based on the data you provide.
Why is this a Beta?
As part of our commitment to innovation, we're releasing these tools in beta to gather valuable feedback and refine its capabilities. During this phase, the tool is still evolving, meaning it will improve over time. However, there may be occasional errors or misinterpretations. Your feedback is essential to refining the tool's functionality and performance. Please give your responses a thumbs up or thumbs down to help us understand how its going.
Things that will feel annoying (we hate annoying, so thanks for your patience - we’re racing to improve this every week)
You might notice it feels slow, unlike in tools like ChatGPT where the responses start typing, Sumd[AI] is waiting for a full response before giving it to you. In the next release, this will be updated to stream as you've no doubt come to expect.
It knows your data but it doesn’t know how to use Sumday, you still need to use the (?) to search the knowledge centre. This will be merged in the next release so you can have one place to understand your data, and the platform itself.
Graphs can be…ugly. There, we said it. These tools are improving fast but if you ask for graphs to include in reports and they are a little less beautiful than you’ve come to expect from Sumday, know that we expect these to be better over time.
Important Things to Know
- Check the Outputs: Sumd[AI] is a powerful assistant, but it’s important to review the outputs carefully. While the AI strives to provide accurate results, it might not always get it right, especially in complex scenarios. Be sure to validate all AI-generated content or data before acting on it or using it in your external reports.
- AI is Learning, But Not From Your Data: Sumd[AI] improves through continuous development and refinement, but we want to be clear: we do not use your data to train the model. Your data remains private and secure, used only for your specific use within the platform. Any enhancements to the AI are based on general improvements, not your individual data.
- It’s Not a Substitute for Human Judgment: Sumd[AI] is designed to assist, not replace, human expertise. Use Sumd[AI] as a guide, but apply your own insights and judgment when making final decisions.
- Privacy and Security: All data you input into Sumd[AI] is handled securely, in accordance with our strict privacy policies. Your data is used exclusively for your reporting and analysis needs and is never used to train or improve the AI outside of your specific environment. You can read more on this here.
Your Feedback
We want our AI powered features to be the best they can be, and your feedback is crucial. If you encounter an issue, have suggestions for improvement, or want to share your experience, please let us know. Your feedback helps us make the tool better for everyone.
